Living with Ulcerative Colitis (UC) is a new syndicated patient report that presents valuable insights into the unmet needs and the burden experienced by patients living with UC.
The report covers the 4EU+UK (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK) and Japan with a sample of 278 patients who suffer from UC. The methodology consists of 30-minute quantitative online interviews and 40-minute qualitative tele-web interviews (including pre-task exercises).
The new Living with UC report provides patient insights to improve knowledge of the UC patient landscape and patient journey from diagnosis. It uncovers the practical and emotional burden that UC places on patients, triggers and barriers to move patients to advanced treatment, as well as the patient’s role in treatment switching. Furthermore, it enables you to build a picture of resources needed at key points during the patient journey to ensure patient support resources are optimally utilized.
Head of Living With, Mariel Metcalfe commented, “Research Partnership is committed to producing research which focuses on the voice of the patient, and to offer a more patient-centric view of what it is like to live with a long-term, life-changing illness. Our reports cover a wide range of therapy areas such as in immunology, metabolic conditions and respiratory, and we hope to expand the list of therapy areas year on year.”
